Their experience spans strategy, technology integration, operational execution and board-level decision support across retail, financial services, travel, B2B and private equity environments. This depth of experience informs how Beyond advises clients and anchors our commitment to practical outcomes over theory.
William Beresford
Chief Strategy Officer
William is a seasoned strategy and data leader with deep experience shaping complex technology and analytics initiatives inside large organisations. He began his career in strategic sales and account management at Hoskyns (now Cap Gemini), where he worked at the intersection of clients, technology and growth. Later, as part of McKinsey’s Business Technology Office during the dot-com boom, William led challenging, high-impact technology and transformation engagements, including launching a new online brokerage from scratch under tight timelines.
As co-founder of Beyond, William has driven delivery for major clients including Waitrose, B&Q and Visa, developing innovative data solutions such as Spendographics and Sectorgraphics that enable data-led loyalty and customer engagement. His leadership is shaped by real delivery experience and a decision-centric view of how analytics and AI drive measurable business outcomes.

Paul Alexander
Chief Executive Officer
Paul is a senior executive with a substantial track record across data analytics, strategy and global commercial leadership. He built his career in advertising, media and data-driven decision environments, working with some of the world’s most recognisable brands — including British Airways, Apple, P&G and Heineken. At dunnhumby he served as Global Head of Consumer Markets, leading teams to extract business value from consumer data and scale customer insight across multiple markets.
Paul’s career is defined by roles that blend commercial leadership, organisational impact and operational excellence. His work has been recognised in industry rankings such as DataIQ 100 Most Influential People in Data and Information Age’s UK Top 50 Data Leaders. As CEO of Beyond, Paul ensures the firm’s thinking and delivery remain grounded in practical outcomes that strengthen client performance and competitive advantage.
