This auto repair chain needed to evaluate and determine the optimal settings for a new loyalty program to ensure it was being run profitably and protecting margin. This was to be an ongoing requirement so they were looking for a repeatable solution.
What We Did
We developed a new solution called the Loyalty Scenario Analysis Tool (LSAT). This combined the client's own transactional data with Beyond Analysis’ in-depth understanding of loyalty program dynamics to model loyalty program impacts under a variety of settings, scenarios and territories. Using the models we determined the optimal settings and projections for the program to define the business model.
The program was launched in Australia and New Zealand and the projections were found to be accurate to within +/-5% of first year actual results. The program itself was also successful and driving up repeat transactions with Club members up 45% compared to non members.
